Normalcy... maybe

We are finally getting into somewhat normal routines. Tom is working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. He really enjoys getting out of the house and work is slowly getting busier for him as students are coming back on campus. As for me work will be changing into a different pace within the next week. Our incoming class will arrive tomorrow beginning bright and early at 8 am. Believe it or not we will still have students depositing the week before classes start, but once classes begin I should be switching gears into a new recruiting season and we will have our student workers coming to campus.

God is continuing to provide each day and we learn to trust Him more and more. We are both working with the youth group on Sundays now which is really cool. Tom has been doing it for a few weeks, and I am just getting my feet wet. I am learning how to connect with students, unlike Tom, I am a bit more reserved. We also have started to attend a Sunday morning younger married group. It is fun to get to touch base with some others who are married in our church. We went from going to church on Sundays to being really involved.

The other fun news is that Katie asked me to be apart of her wedding. Unfortunately one of her bridesmaids could no longer be apart so she asked me to fill in. It is such a blessing cause Katie and I had an amazing year and 1/2 of living together. We are so much of the same person. I am really looking to share in her day and be in my first wedding aside from my own.

For now that is all.. I am sure this "normalcy" will change again when Tom begins classes...

i'm glad to hear that life is getting into a calmer routine! :-D

it is always nice to feel somewhat established after some massive transitions (graduating/marriage)!
