Well I cannot believe it is already time for Thanksgiving. We have been married for 5 and 1/2 months and boy it is flying on by. Yet some days seem so slow! Anyways, we are going to be celebrating Thanksgiving with my mom and sister, they will be coming to our apartment. Don't be fool though, I am still not quite ready to cook that type of a meal on my own, so my mom will be doing a lot of it. We are looking forward to the sharing this day together with my family as well as it means the start of the Christmas season. Last night Tom and I even began to make cookies, Soft Molasses Cookies, which were so yummy. I am excited to share our first Christmas as a married couple together. Within the next week we should have most of the house decorated. We have not yet picked out a day to go get the tree, but that should be soon as well. We have been blessed with decorations from his mom, gifts from the wedding and from my aunt, as well as ornaments from our childhoods. We are really looking forward to this wonderful time of year.
Back to Thanksgiving, I am so thankful for a roof over my head and blankets to sleep with. I am thankful for my wonderful husband. I am thankful for a God who loves me and gave His Son for me. I am thankful for love. I am thankful for family. I am thankful for friend. This list could go on forever. I hope you have plenty to be thankful for. May you have a wonderful Thankgiving.
