Above is the snowy abyss that is our house, car and street... thank you snow storm 2010! It was quite the snow storm. I would say, according to my measurements, we got about 18 inches. Craziness. The sad thing is that Tom is away on a youth retreat/conference until tonight... they actually will be hitting the road to come home shortly. I am very excited for him to come home because I shoveled so much today! I am very proud of myself and am so thankful for Christ's strength which helped me through. There still is plenty to shovel which is a bummer.
I did read a little more of Forgotten God today. Today I was reminded of how I long so much to show Christ's love to others, but I am so judgmental. This is something that I am going to need the Spirit to help me so I won't allow it to enable me to serve Him and love others. Also this chapter reminded me of Bible 300 a little, touching on the fact that some times Christians like to invite Christ in their life and just continue the same way they were before. What some like to call Dualism. It was a good reminder, because I don't feel that I am one who lives this way, but it is something we continually must make sure we are not doing. I hope that I will continue to see the Holy Spirit's guidance daily.
