April Showers

Well it has been a while since we last updated... life here in the Falls is pretty fabulous. We have kept ourselves busy these last few weeks. Some recent celebrations have been Easter and Adam's Wedding. We had a great time spending Easter with family and having some time off together. We love having those days off together.. that is why I cherish Saturdays. Adam and Laura's wedding was also a joyous occasion. Tom was one of Adam's groomsmen. Tom and Adam have been friends for quiet a few years now and Adam was in our wedding so it was amazing to share in his and Laura's big day. We are looking forward to a few months from now when they will move back to Beaver Falls.








Other exciting things going on in our lives... Tom is near completion of his first year in graduate school. I am rejoicing in this because that means only 1 year to go. He will be busy this summer though with 4 classes, so no break for him. We are excited about this though. Next fall and spring he will be fulfilling HUNDREDS of hours in practicum and internships, and with that we will be getting back his old Astro Van. I know this is something that Tom is excited about. I am excited that we don't have to buy a new car and his brothers were very gracious to give us the Astro. I am also busy right now taking a course at work, I am pushing myself to get everything done while I am at work because I am enjoying not having "school work" at night. I don't think grad school is in my near future. I am at peace about this though. I feel like God is going to do mighty things.

We are also excited because Tom's dad just got a job in New York! He is in his 2nd week at work. This is a great opportunity for them and our traveling distance has not increased at all from what it was in NJ.

Other things... We continue to stay busy with church. We really enjoy working with the youth. I am helping out with a small group, I teach every other week before youth group. I am really enjoying getting to know some of the girls better. Also I am in charge of follow up for the youth so with that means lots of calling. We try to keep up with all of the students to make sure that they know they are loved! Tom is busy helping with the actual service of youth group. God is using us and it is very exciting. We also are really enjoying getting more plugged in here at church and in Beaver Falls, and getting to develop our own little home and friendships. Being connected to His Vine leaves me longing for more!
