So I am back at Geneva. Completed day 2 of classes. It is such a bitter sweet thing. I did have a slight break down the day I came back. It is so scary to know that this is the last semester I will have and after this I become an adult or something to that effect. I am looking forward to spending genuine time with some great people this final semester. I know God is going to be doing a lot and I am going to need some strength to trust in him for it all.
On a totally different topic... The rest of break was wonderful. I really enjoyed some QT with some of my very great friends and my amazing Fiance. We did get some wedding plans accomplished and are looking forward to the wonderful day. I also had the opportunity to read some great books. The first book I read over break was The Shack. It was such a wonderful read. I will try not to give it away, but there is a family who deals with a horrible tragedy and the father pulls away from God. God calls him to the Shack where the tragedy took place and it is there that he has a great encounter with the trinity. How beautiful. It gave me the opportunity to look at my relationship with Christ and dig deeper. Highly recommend. :-) My second book, which I am still reading, is Irresistible Revolution. This book is also challenging me to dig deeper. As I talked about in recent blogs about my hunger for a more servant heart with Christ, this book deals with it. I have recently discovered somethings I would love to do in my life. I would challenge you to read both if you have not :-).
As I reflect on all of this I am looking forward to more challenging things this school year. Please pray that I would lay it all at the foot of the cross.
